My brother’s been visiting the East Coast from his adopted California home for the past few weeks. He’s heading back tonight. That called for waffles. These were made with whole wheat pastry flour, and were super light and delightfully chewy. I topped mine with my favorite waffle and pancake topping: yogurt. Non-traditional, but delicious. We also had some fresh blueberries and I mixed those in as well.
It’s a warm, rainy day today and these were the perfect, cozy breakfast for such weather.
